This series hit the ground running in Jan. of ’09 and has been my best attended open mic by a large margin. People love this venue and I get lots of repeat players and patrons, it’s a real musical family. When you start with the charming confines and ambiance of the old Anderson’s Market building, a friendly staff and clientele in the heart of beautiful Concord Center, you’ve got a winner. You’ll find an extremely appreciative audience and that’s one reason why so many talented musicians like to play their music here. Because of it’s popularity, the sign up list fills up but we’ve always managed to get everyone on stage. Lyle Montague handles the sign up sheet starting around 6:30, he’s the guy in the corner with the baseball hat. The food here is fabulous and the service is the best. I usually do a half hour warm up set.
