First national opener, booked by Don Law. Played Buzzy's in Lynn that eve.

Phil Nunez sang harmonies off stage, only duo allowed. Ginger was a trip.

Great bill, became friends w/ PDB, shared many bills together after that..

Stompers , Beaver Brown also on the bill, became friends w/ Larry Hoppen.

Orleans w/ Robbie Dupree (Steal Away) Great Crowd!!

Midnight Traveler was on the bill, Greg and band in fine form!

Those were the days, Digney Fignus also on the bill. Did this at Casbah too.

Greg had walking pneumonia, no voice. Hung out w/ band later at hotel.

Great band, nice comments from Kenny. Bruce's voice tired from previous 5 nights.

We had to play Jacks in Cambridge later that night, never saw Todd's show.

This was booked as an acoustic opener with me and John Donahoe opening for the Saturday Night Live Bandleader and Hall and Oates guitarist but we ended up being part of his band as the rest of his guys were stranded on the Mass Pike with a dead van....we called a local drummer and bass player and did the night, what a gas!! GE was on fire!! I got to front and sing most of the night..

Beautiful day and setting, Hiatt was amazing and actually plugged me during his set, nice guy and very gracious..

I scored the second NE date with John that summer, fabulous crowd, they were clappin and stompin when I did "Unchain My Heart" Hiatt played a completely different set from the Block Island Show. We traded CD's, this was my 3rd show with Hiatt..

We won our night and moved to the finals the following week. We ended up being the runner up and actually beat the band that came in first during the semis but they clinched the wild card and prevailed...there's always next year.....
